Citroen continues the electric offensive with an SUV: the C5 Aircross Plug-In Hybrid. After the Peugeot 508 and 3008 Citroën C5, Aircross gets access to the PSA Group's plug-in hybrid platform.

The C5 Aircross is already the benchmark for comfort thanks to progressive hydraulic shock-absorbing suspensions, Advanced Comfort seats and 20 auxiliary systems, but the C5 Aircross SUV is moving to a new stage through a line of plug-in hybrid models.

The new model is equipped with a PureTech petrol engine and an electric motor connected to an automatic gearbox, e-EAT8, which provides a cumulative power of 225 HP and a torque of 320 Nm.
Charging the battery takes less than 2 hours on a Wall Box with an additional 7.4 kW charger and 7 hours on a home outlet for a standard 3.7 kW charger.

The C5 Aircross Hybrid can be recognized due to the specific exterior accents of the anodized Blue, the "hybrid" logo placed on the back door, and another logo on the sides of the car. The load flap on the left side of the body is symmetrical with the fuel valve located on the right.
